Since we are into that part of the year here in the Midwest that I cannot stand (January. Ugh. Always so so very cold.), I thought I might share a neck warming pattern or two that has made it's way into my Ravelry queue.

This one is available through the Interweave website. It is one of the free Knitting Daily patterns. I think it just looks so warm and so pretty. Perfect for when you need to bundle up while scraping all that ice off your car after a long work day.
As I said, the pattern is free and available here.
The next one is one I saw on Ravelry a few days ago and immediately bought the pattern. It's the Thermis Cowl:

This one is by KrisKnits and is available as a Ravelry download for $2.49 here.
I really love this little cowl because I think it looks quite fancy. Like you are wearing a nice handknit sweater under your coat. I may be casting on for this one very soon. So, what's new in your queue?
